Basil

Basil is a popular aromatic leaf commonly found in Italian cuisine; the minty, peppery herb actually originated in India. Known as “the king of herbs,” basil can be used in a variety of recipes: finely chopped to make pesto, scattered across a caprese salad or as a topping for a delicious bruschetta.
